  • A specialist wooden floor restoration and repair service, bringing wooden floors back to life
  • A bespoke furniture design and build service, to meet a client’s individual specification

The company is run by trained restoration specialist and furniture maker Simon Wills from a dedicated workshop that is fitted out with the latest woodworking machinery in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire. It is Simon’s stated mission to meet your exacting specifications.

Resulting in meeting every client’s individual needs, attention to detail is applied to every individual signature piece and customer service applied to every stage of the process.

This attention to detail extends to every aspect of the business operation and in a time where environmental responsibility should be high on everyone’s agenda.

It is company policy to be proactive in the environmental responsibility of trading in timber, we therefor only source our timber material from local accredited suppliers that hold the following certificates and adhere to the TTF policy.

Timber Trade Federation: The Timber Trade Federation has a stated Responsible Purchasing Policy. This is the most creditable tool referred to by numerous organisations, including the UK government and Olympic administrators. It is a management tool used to improve performance to obtain legal and sustainable timber.

FSC: Farnsfield Furniture and Restoration is committed to supplying certified timber products where chain of custody can be verified and holds full Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody certification.

The same applies to recycled timbers – the FSC Recycled Label guarantees reclaimed timber is sourced from100% genuine post-consumer waste.

PEFC: The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) scheme certifications provides assurance to clients that companies holding this certification are promoting the sustainable management of forests.

CPET: Farnsfield Furniture and Restoration follows closely UK Government Central Point of Expertise on Timber Procurement Category A evidence (CPET) guidelines, that only ‘legal’ or ‘legal and sustainable’ timber can be specified for government contracts.
